Subject: Baselineskip in footnotes
Etexers,
I suspect there is a simple solution but I cannot find a way to change
the baselineskip in my footnotes. I use 8pt text in footnotes and there
is far too much space between lines for such a font size.
I have tried setting baselineskip by using eplain's \everyfootnote
macro but it seems to have no effect (presumably because the footnotes
are not typeset as paragraphs so that the change in baselineskip never
takes effect).
Is there a simple way to do this, perhaps by altering the \vfootnote
macro?
